Organized by the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the FinTech Competition 2026 was held at the CUHK campus on July 17. The competition challenged students to explore innovative applications of artificial intelligence in the financial sector to solve real-world problems. Representing our school as a team, Wu Chi Hang (6C) and Lam Kok Yin (6C) delivered an outstanding performance and secured the First-Class Award (5th place)!

Thanks to their exceptional results, both students have been awarded full sponsorship to attend a 3-day FinTech Camp in Shanghai, hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they will gain hands-on experience and insights into the latest developments in financial technology.
